Description of 1960 Chevrolet Corvette

Excellent driver 1960 Corvette. Marlboro Maroon with Silver Coves and black interior. Same owner for the past 13 years with all current and 3 previous owner's documentation. 1980's 305 cu. in. V8 able to use unleaded gasoline without additive with 27,000 mile on the rebuild. High speed cam. Hurst shifter and 4 speed manual transmission rebuilt 2,400 miles ago. HEI ignition upgrade 2 years ago. New Edlebrock 650 cfm carburetor. Front disc brake conversion kit installed and rear drum brake job with new hardware, aster cylinder, hoes and brake cylinders 300 miles ago. Shocks replaced 3,000 miles ago. Craiger chrome mag wheels. New vinyl convertible top installed 14 years ago and has been used 3 times and is in like new condition. Frame is in outstanding condition and this is an important point on these cars. Many look good up top, ut have rot underneath. This car is completely solid underneath. Current radio is an aftermarket corvette AM/FM cassette. I have a brand new, n the box, onderbar converted radio that is original stock exterior with modern radio components and Aux input jack for music (ipod, tc) that will convey with the car. The paint is 18 years old and still looks great. There are a few blemishes (spider web cracking) that are small and typical of fiberglass bodied older cars. In the right lighting the hood has some central spider webbing which is not apparent at first, ut noticeable once you own the car, o new owner may want to repaint the hood. The chrome is in very good condition throughout most of the car, ut thinning with windburn around windshield. Stainless steel dual exhaust. This car was a San Diego car before, nd the previous owner removed the heater. I have kept the chrome distributor cover, riginal distributor and front drum brakes so that the car can be converted back to original if so desired. This car isquick and fun to drive. It accelerates quickly and is very responsive. It is geared low, nd comes up to speed quickly, ut will be turning around 3,000 rpms at 65 mph in 4th gear on the highway. It is a great looking, un driver, ot an all original, atching numbers trailer queen, o is priced appropriately. There are no modern cars these days that look as good as the 58-60 Vettes and it really stands out on the road. You will have a blast with this car.
