Description of 1983 Chevrolet S-10

Up for NO RESERVE auction is this all original 1983 Chevy S10 V6 2.8 Liter Well Maintained truck.

My father bought this from the dealer in 1983, ave it to me before he passed therefore it's been in my family since the beginning. The truck has the original owners manual, M Factory Service manual and all the paperwork showingmost work performed through the years. The transmission was completely rebuilt at 75K, he engine was also removed at that time, ll gaskets, iming chain, ater pump, hermostat, adiator were replaced. If you know Chevy's you'llknow that rebuilding the transmission means plastic parts were replaced with metal, ebuild is better than factory- as a result the truck continues to shift flawlessly.

Thistruck has never towed anything, ever had a plow attached - it was primarily used as a means for my father to drive and take supplies toNew England where my mom and dad spent the summer. That said, ost of the miles are highway driven. For the most part the truck has been sitting in storage for the past 5 years. There is rust on the truck and I started to replace some of it's components and was planning to restore it but honestly I don't have the time. You'll notice the right side door has been replaced, his is where I started to dothe restorebut decided to let it go to someone who has the time to complete it.

The truck has a complete bed liner installed, also have a brand new right front fender and a complete set of window gaskets for that new door on the right side. Included in the auction is a brand newset of bucket seats (see the photos), abric lined and custommade - these were $500 alone. I replaced the carpeting about 4 years ago, t's in great shape. The heater runs great, he heater core was replaced 3 years ago also the blower motor. The wipers, asher motor and all lights and turn signals are fully functional. The tail light lenses were replaced 3 years ago. The tires have about 60% tread remaining, he complete tie-rod assembly was replaced in 2002 - standard wear and easy enough to replace, had it done. The carburetor was replaced in 2004 and it's been working perfect since. The exhaust was replaced in 2013, here are no leaks and the truck runs quiet.I don't care how cold out it is, his truck starts and runs perfectly.

Considering it's age this is a nice truck and with a little TLC it will serve someone for years. If you’re looking for a restoration project, s many people do on these, ou couldn't find an easier and more cost effective vehicle to do it on. The parts for these are readily available, ow cost and it's all "bolt on".. Any of the body components except for a few just unbolt and can be completely replaced. I honestly hate to sell this as my dad loved this truck and it's been in our family for 32 years, ts served us well and its a part of the family. The bed isFULLSIZE, ou can carryseveral4X8 sheets of plywood or a couch and loveseat with No problem. This isn't the smaller 4 cylinder engine, t's the larger 2.8 Liter which means it's got plenty of power but won't kill you for gas. The only thing Electronic is the Ignition, o computers and as a result simple, ow cost to maintain and tons of space under the hood.

Please only BID if you intend to buy the truck. Seller reserves the right to end the auction early if the vehicle is no longer available / if an acceptable offer is made.

Auction Winner will be expected to provide a deposit, ay the remainder at time of vehicle pickup and is completely responsible for vehicle pickup.

Best of luck..
