Description of 1984 Chevrolet Blazer

UP FOR SALE IS MY 1984 K5 BLAZER. I BUILT THIS TRUCK TO TOW BEHIND MY MOTOR HOME AND FOR SPOTTING TRAILERS (FRONT HITCH/TOWBAR MOUNT). I started out with a clean 1 owner low mileage. rust free California truck and rebuilt or replaced everything that I could . I am sure I will miss some things so if you have questions I will be glad to answer. Start with outward appearance: Painted 2 stage Viper Red with the top smoothed and painted body color. All rubber trim was replaced. 1987 grill and all new chrome bumpers etc. The truck was taken apart to paint top removed and new glass rubber and top seal rubber. Also sprayed black bed liner material on rear compartment side walls. floor and tailgate section. Finish was cut and rubbed! New wheels and tires 31" TA's new front carpet. seats were rebuilt. New dash and aftermarket gauges. The radio is a factory am/fm cassette that was completely rebuilt with a port installed in the face to allow you to plug in your I pod or? The A/C system was completely rebuilt using all new parts ie: heater core. evaporator. condenser. custom hoses. compressor. fan motor. plus a reseal of the unit. Now for the drive train: Both front and rear differentials received all new bearings. and seals front axles had u joints replaced. Both front and rear drive shafts replaced all u joints. New radiator. GM clutch fan. water pump all new hoses. The engine is a 290 HP GM crate motor. when I installed the GM serp. belt set up with new A/C comp. . power steering pump. 120 Amp alternator. I found the cyl. heads did not have the necessary bolt holes to secure the brackets so I installed a set of Dart iron heads. The Q jet carb with electric choke was rebuilt by "The Carb Shop" New electronic GM distributor. Hooker headers Jet coated inside and out with full exhaust and dual Big block Flow master mufflers. The new GM clutch was installed with the new motor and a factory rebuilt NV4500 5 speed trans along with a brand new (NOS) transfer case. New Warn locking hubs. In summary I do not think you will find a cleaner more thoroughly completed truck around! I towes wonderfully and parking trailers or launching boats is a breeze with either the front or rear hitch _THE ALUMINUM Trailer hitches are NOT included in this sale.
