Description of 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Nomad

This is a Nomad we have owned for a long time. It was last on the road in California in 1987. It is 99% complete. It is painted black with an ivory top now but was originally Larkspur Blue with an ivory top.Interior was Black and Blue. The cowl tag reads: 57-1064 style, L547 Body, 93 Trim, 10D Paint, P ACC. It also had the padded dash option and still has a wonderbar radio. The back seat is original but has been recovered years ago. The original front seat is gone but is the same as all 2 door 57 cars. We do have a 2 door seat that fits in the car and is close to the original and could be used... that we are including. It is a very solid car with nice factory front and rear..driver /passenger floors. The only rust in the floors is way in the back on both upper floors beside the spare tire ( they could be patched or an easy replacement also a couple of small spots in the spare tire well. We still have the wood floors that cover the rear area for a pattern, ll stainless trim and original jack. As far as we know the engine and transmission are original. The frame is nice and all floor supports are nice. the right hand bottom of the rocker has one hole that could easily be repaired. All original inside and outside chrome trim is included and on the car but will need to be re-plated for show. The engine turns freely and would probably run once cleaned up..The carburator is stuck. The car is in need of a complete restoration. They only made 6000 of these cars and are very rare in this condition. We put a reasonable reserve on the car and will not disclose it until the end of auction. If you want this car you had better bid now ...we may change our mind about selling it if it does not reach the reserve. It is the ultimate restoration project. call or e-mail with any questions..thanks for looking...Mike 541-788-5756
