1951 Chevy 1/2 ton Short box pick up truck Rides and Drives Daily Driver Clean

This 1951 chevy 1/2 ton shortbox pick up truck was bought needing a paint job basically rust free ad extremely solid. I took pics of the body before it was painted in a stage one clear paint so you can see the condition it was in before we painted it.

The truck was last running about 3 years ago. I decided to set it up and sell it. I did a complete tune up like points plugs condesnor etc. it was converted to a 12 volt system and all of the head lights tailights guages and radio are working. The turn signals where not hooked up.As you can see in the video and pics, he running boards are solid, he floors are solid and the interior is in very nice shape. All of the glass is good (minor crack I saw in passenger door window and a little fogging around the edges of the front and rear glass. )

This is a truck you could fly in and drive home other than replacing or cleaning the gas tank as I am running it off a aux tank in the cab. (easy replacement jim carter truck approx $160) This truck handles beautifully at 60 mph and it stops the way it should. The clutch and all of the gears work the way they should.

The original wood is still in the box (see video of underside) and the previous owner put a diamond plate sheet over the original wood. The windows go up and down and the doors shut the way they should.It has been upgraded by the previous owner with a 235 6 cyl engine.The engine does not smok, nock, r miss, nd it fires up on the first try every time we have tried it.

From 5 feet away this truck looks like a number 1 condition truck but when you get close you can see the minor flaws in the paint, ings etc. The tires look servicable. This is a truck you can get in and enjoy right away. take it to shows, ruises, r just enjoy it on daily drives. It comes with a clean numbers matching title to the vin plate ready for you to register.

As everyones opinion on what a classic truck should be is different, recommend you come and inspect the truck by appointment or hire ebay to do a independant inspection for you before bidding.
