Description of 1977 Chevrolet C-10 |
For sale I have my 77 C-10 "heavy half ". (Has 3/4 ton lead springs, nbsp;bigger front brakes, tc). Has a 350/TH350. The truck is in good condition for the age, verall. Truck is originally from New Mexico. Not a show piece but definitely would make a great restoration candidate. It's been my daily driver for the past two summers (no winters). Since ive owned it, 've replaced the water pump, ower steering pump, ll belts, nd the thermostat. Odometer reads 71k. Oil changed every 3k. I've been using Mobil 10w40 with a qt. of slick 50. Doesn't appear to use much oil, add 1/2qt- 1qt. after making long trips. Oil pressure is around 35-40 at 55 >, olds 30 consistently when cruising below 55.The truck is mostly original except for it being lowered by the previous owner. What it needs: It will need a u-joint (vibration from 35-45 mph then goes away around 50 >) and a washer fluid pump. The carb could use some adjusting (high idle doesn't work when starting cold). As far as I can tell, t's the original Quadrajet. I'll include both parts with the truck, nd try to get them replaced before selling but have been busy. The radiator is showing signs of oxidation but still holds/circulates fluid fine. I have all receipts for work I've done to the truck since I bought it. It also comes with a rust-free tailgate and tilt-wheel steering column that was picked up at a car show. |
