Description of 1955 Chevrolet Leadsled Short bed stepside

This is an early 55 Chevy pick up, op chopped about 3 inches, ll of the metal work is done. Also the windshield is cut down to fit and included. This project can be bought for about the cost of the roof chop. The truck sits on a 71 Chevelle frame that has been shortened and narrowed, ab mounted, ustom bed built and mounted, uel tank installed, attery mounted and wired. Doors and hood hinged but not latched.
The stock 454 engine seen in the pics is not included in this auction listing, ut is available to the highest bidder for $1500. additional payment .The engine was bought as a stock rebuilt from a marine shop, hecked for correct rotation, il pan changed to a chevelle pan, nd intake manifold changed to the polished single carb tunnel ram.
The truck has a turbo 400 trans, ustom length drive shaft installed. Power disc brakes are plumbed and installed, nly needing a pushrod from thr pedal to be complete. Power steering box installed and connected to a Trans Am steering column. The floor is in except for the trans tunnel, hich needs to be fabbed and installed. The fenders are hung with only 2 or 3 bolts each, emporary for mock up.
Included are a nice pair of running boards which will need shortening, riginal heater, auges, rackets, ounts.
