Highlights-

Car is a nice driver, ith a non-matching (NOM) 327/300 motor, urbo 400 automatic transmission, ardtop (only), ower steering, ower brakes and tinted glass. The car runs and drives nicely. Car has new paint, arpet, eat covers, ires, attery and horn relay. Starter and alternator have both been rebuilt.

FRAME & BODY

The frame, irdcage, illar posts and radiator support are all solid. There islight surface rust on the frame and under carriage, ut no soft spots, ust holes or frame repairs. There are two (2) large nuts that have been welded to the bottom on both frame rails (one on each side). The nuts are located about where the doors end - possibly side exhaust mounting points? Both door frames are rust-free.

Overall, he body is in good shape, ith decent gaps. Car has been repaired at some point in time on the RH (passenger side) door jamb area, y the right rear quarter panel. That area was cleaned up prior to repainting, ut you can still notice the repair work when the RH door is open, f you're looking for it. LH (driver's side) floor pan area has also been repaired, nd is noticeable from under the car. RH (passenger side) hood receiver area has also been repaired, ut looks OK, nd latches fine. Car has a later (1973-76) Corvette long hood, s the wiper door assembly has been completely removed. Headlight openings have been filled in, ith the headlights moved under the front bumper behind the LH and RH front grilles. Low beam and high beam lights work fine; 3 of the 4 headlights are original T-3's.Looking under the front end of the car, t appears that original headlight assemblies could be cut in with minimum difficulty. A box of headlight assembly parts (headlamp covers, rames, ardware, tc.), s included, nd goes with the car (see photo). Hardtop is an aftermarket top.

Car was recently repainted red (car was originally Polar White). Car was red when I acquired it, o itdid not need stripped down to bare fiberglass before painting, xcept in some areas (top of rear deck, ardtop and gas door). Paint is not concurs, ut looks very good! All outside emblems have been removed. Windshield glass is tinted/shaded. Side door glass is also tinted, ut both have a few nicks/scratches. Rear compartment area is good, ut there is a hole in the bottom fiberglass section within the battery compartment.

EXTERIOR

Front bumper is nice. Front bumperettes are driver quality, s are both rear bumpers. All three (3) front grilles and both front turn signal assemblies are fine; lower front grille chrome is there, ut pitted. Hardtop is aftermarket, nd there is no convertible top frame. Rear exhaust bezels are included, ut not installed. Lower front valence is cracked on the RH (passenger) side. Lower rocker covers (aluminum), re both in very good condition. Rear license plate bezel is pitted. All four (4) wheels are 15" Corvette style rallies, ut I can't tell if they are the AG coded '68 only wheels, ue to heavy paint. Spare tire tub and lid are included, ut off the car.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT
Engine compartment is relatively clean. No wiper door assembly whatsoever, ut both upper fender windshield molding pieces are there. Windshield wiper motor has just been gone through. Wiper washer bottle is there, ut wiper washers don't operate (due to wiper door assembly being removed). Some ignition shielding parts go with the car (see photo with headlight parts). Car recently had a tune up, il change, nd new filters. Starter and alternator have both been rebuilt; horn relay is new. Engine does have aminor oil leak -at thelower sectionof the timing chain cover.

DRIVETRAIN

Engine starts easily, dles smoothly, runs strong and drives nice. The transmission shifts as it should. The original engine is no longer with the car; the non-matching 327/300 motor in the car now, as in the car when I bought it. Exhaust looks rusty, ut seems OK. No smog parts.

INTERIOR

Interior has new carpet and seat covers. Upper and lower dash pads, onsole, hifter plate and door panels are all weathered, nd driver quality. Seat backs are OK, ut have their share of chips and cracks. Chrome hockey sticks (4), n the seats, ave corrosion in spots. Horn button and quarter trim pieces are well worn. Quarter trim pieces have, pilot job" stamped on the back sides. Inside windshield trim, unvisors and rear view mirror assembly are driver quality. Steering wheel is the correct '67/68 plastic wood grain wheel, ith two (2) small cracks. Steering column is in good condition. The plastic E-brake cover is there, ut cracked on top. Seat belts in the car when I bought it (black/non-Corvette) were rusty and locked up, o I replaced them with Green Deluxe seat belts, ut of a Chevelle. Stock AM-FM radio is there, ut doesn't work, s there are no speakers behind the kick panels. The rear compartment doors don't alwayslatch easily. Speedometer and Tachometer work fine, ut odometer and clock don't work. Tachometer shows a 5,300 RPM redline (correct for a base car).

OVERALL ASSESSMENT
This car is far from original, ut still looks greatand runs really well. Hard to beat the looks of a red/red chrome bumper C3 convertible! No major issues that I am aware of.

I've owned the car for a year and a half. I'm selling the car so that I can concentrate time and resources on some other Corvette projects I have.

I have a clear Ohio title in my name. The car is currently registered and insured. Personal inspections of the car are both welcomed and encouraged. Lancaster, hio is located about 30 miles southeast of Columbus, hio.

I have no factory GM paperwork with the car.Ido have all receipts for work done on the car during my tenure, s well as some left overbase coat paintand clear, hat will go with the car.

Call or email with any questions. Thanks - Duane (614) 920-0647
