Frame-off and Perfect!

This fully restored (frame off) Chevrolet Bel Air convertible is ready to go!! It is painted in the beautiful Tropical Turquoise and has a white convertible top. It is fully equipped and, fter a 6-year restoration, s ready for a new owner—which could/should be you.

Great Looking

This Bel Air convertible looks like it just came out of a Chevy showroom back in 1957:

Paint and Chrome

Resprayed in its original Tropical Turquoise, his car looks as new. The chrome is every bit as nice as is the stainless trim.

The white convertible top is in excellent condition and the power lowering/raising mechanism (recently rebuilt) works properly.

Interior

The interior upholstery was all redone to showroom specifications and looks like new. The new door panels are excellent as is the carpeting. The padded dash (an option in 1957) and all of the instruments are in excellent cosmetic condition as well.

Engine

The period-correct engine is a totally rebuilt 283 V-8 with Power Pack that operates on lead-free gasoline. The fully-detailed V-8 sits in an equally nicely detailed engine bay.

Transmission

The Power Glide automatic transmission shifts properly, aking this the ideal cruising car.

Chassis

The underside of this Bel Air convertible is consistent with a frame-off, how-quality restoration with only 1,000 careful miles thereafter (see pictures). It is, f course, ree of any visible rust or corrosion.

Safety and Comfort features

The car has the Treadle Vac power brake booster and the brakes operate smoothly. This car is also equipped with power steering that makes driving this convertible a dream. Seat belts have been installed for additional safety.

All of the safety and accessory features work—lights, urn signals, ipers, orn, tc. Both the radio and clock also work correctly.
