Description of 1953 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 |
Here is a good running 1953 Chevy Wagon with the inline 6 cylinder engine that runs good. It has had an Aluminum Radiator added to keep engine running cool. It still has the original 3 speed column shift that shifts good. The clutch feels good and car don''t shatter when taking off. This wagon has some rust on the body that gives it charactor. It still retains the original paint. The interior looks to have had the seats recovered at some point and are in good condition. It needs headliner. The carpet is ok but not perfect. It needs doors panels. It has had a blinker system added. All lights work as they should. The gauges are not working at this time. The underside of car is actually pretty solid. It''s not rust free but it don''t have alot of rust under it in the floors or rockers. This wagon drives out good. Leave it as is and drive it and enjoy or restore it to be a nice Woody Wagon. The mileage is unknown and I have no clue what it is. Engine don't smoke and runs good is all I can tell you. I have alot more pics of this wagon if anyone is interested in seeing. This wagon is also for sale locally and on other sites so auction could end early. It is being sold as is with no warranty given or implied in anyway. You are welcome and encouraged to come inspect this car for yourself or have someone inspect it for you so you will know exactly what you are bidding on but this must be done Before End Of Auction!! If you bid and meet reserve and are high bidder at end of auction then you have bought it. Please understand this before bidding. This wagon is being sold with a current Georgia registration as Georgia will not issue a title on any vehicle this old. You will be able to get a title in your state with the paperwork I give you so don't worry about this. Georgia is just a non title state on old vehicles like this one. Any questions please ask. Thanks for looking |
