For sale is a 1965 Chevy impala I've had for about 3 years. Originally a 283 2bl automatic car now 454 and 4 speed. I love the car and hate to see it go after so many hours of work and investment but I've moved and can't take it with me. Repainted by PO in corvette war bonnet yellow and body in fair to good shape. Front fender bottoms are a little rough. No visible rust holes and solid floors. Trunk is very solid though was done with a custom piece and not a stock style pan and trunk lid in decent shape. Front fender liners are rust free and very solid. All bright work is there and in good shape. I have the original 283 that is in running shape and included with that car and many other extra parts that are free for the taking to the buyer. All interior work was done about 8 years ago by the p/o and is holding up pretty well. Original bench seat, ecovered front and rear. Dash in great shape, hough an aftermarket radio was installed at some point. Has the usual working gauges added including tach, il press and temp. (Included is a working vintage 8k tach and woodgrain 3 gauge pod.)All drive train work has been done over the past couple years as a long slow project on my spare time. All engine work has less than 500 mi on it and runs great and shifts perfectly. New Painless fuse block added for more key'd fuses. Car starts easy, dles great and stays cool. All receipts are included including all the machine shop work.Located in Zanesville, hEngine- ALL Fresh less than 500miFresh 454 bored .030 overScat crankSealed power 10:1 pistonsStock rodsCleavite bearings for crank and rods.Hastings rings049 cast large oval port heads with fresh valve job, eats, eals, tainless swirl valves, ouble springs, etainers, uide plates and studs.Hi-flow oil pumpPoly rear sealSummit cam PT #SUM-1302 and liftersComp pushrodsComp roller rockers w/polly locksEdelbrock Air gapper intakeQuick fuel 750 carb (electric chock, acuum secondary)Hi-flow fuel pump -->-6AN fuel filter-->-6AN dual feed line for carbCap, otor and coilTaylor 8mm wiresChampion 3 core aluminum radiator2- proform electric fans running off of thermostat control switch.Headman mid-length headersMagnaflow mufflersTrans-Newly re-built Muncie M-20 New hurst linkage and shifter boxNew steel flywheelNew 12" clutch, /O bearing and fork.Suspension-New shocksNew BB-2" lowering springs in the frontNew upper ball joints.Still has the stock open rear end and drive shaft.Front and Rear Suspension is older and would do well with a refresh, onders around at speed.Car is a project car and of course is sold as-is, as some flaws but overall the car is solid and runs great.
