Description of 1985 Chevrolet El Camino

This El Camino SS came from the factory with every option available.
Tilt, ruise, /c, ower windows, ower locks, ucket seats, enter console. This is my sons car that we were working on together for the last year. We put new a/c lines on and charged, ir blows cold. Replaced brakes, uned carb, lowmaster duals, verything works mechanically except cruise control. We never got around to getting it hooked up.
We were going to repaint it and put the factory Super Sport emblems back on the bottom of the doors instead of the Choo Choo Emblems, ut unfortunately someone decided to bring us to an abrupt halt. He was rear-ended by a jeep and the rear quarter, umper and tailgate took the brunt of the damage. The frame is also bent at the point of impact in the rear. We decided to let someone else take it from here, t's more than we can take on at this time. Odometer reading is in excess of 100,000 miles to the best of my knowledge. Our loss could be your gain. Clear SC title in hand so car can be restored.
Please see photos of damage, t is being sold as-is. $500.00 deposit due within 24 hrs of end of auction. Balance to be paid in cash at time of pick up of vehicle. Happy Bidding and thanks for looking.
On Oct-12-15 at 16:17:41 PDT, eller added the following information:

I have been asked a few questions so I will address them here.
The car does not have rust/rot. It appears to have been a southern car most, f not all of it's life. The sheet metal, enders, ottom is solid, loors, ockers and bed are rust free, he only rust present is surface rust on the solid steel underneath (frame, uspension, etc.) and that is minimal considering it is 30 years old.
The car runs and drives great, ounds good, hifts good, dles smooth. I stated above that we went through and checked everything mechanically it after we bought it. We repaired or replaced whatever it needed. I drove it home 350 miles after purchasing it. It was good then, t's better now. I wouldn't let my son drive it if it wasn't. I would not be afraid to get in it and drive it to California and back as it is.
Lastly, t is for sale locally, o I reserve the right to end auction early if sold prior to meeting the reserve. If the reserve is met, he the car will go to the highest bidder. I feel that I have reserve set relatively low, ut fair, ust want to help on the purchase of son's new ride.
Thanks again for your interest and Happy Bidding.
