Description of 1963 Chevrolet C-10

I bought this truck (on Ebay) about 1 year ago for $10,000. I had the truck in the shop (in Ottawa, ansas) having work done, or about 6 months. Total money that I have into this truck is just under $16,000. I had the 3 speed updated to a 307 gear and it now goes 65 mph with no problem at all. It has a 12 bolt rear end, resh 283 engine with headers and an Edelbrock carb. T400 auto transmission, ew aluminum radiator, ew drive shaft, ower front disk breaks / drums in rear. New air conditioner, eater and defroster. Power steering. New wiring harness. 1977 1/2 ton front K member. It's been lowered 3 inches in the front and 4 inches in the back. New carpet and seat cover. When I bought the truck there were no working instruments and no rear end bumper. All this has been fixed/updated. I have paperwork that details all the other small items I've had done (everything from new brake hoses / break lines / brake springs / axle bearing / gear oil / power steering fluid / upper and lower ball joints / power steering pump / inter and outer tie rods / classic performance - swaybar, racbar, rm bushings, ew mirror, gnition switch / door weatherstrips / bumper brackets / alignment / wiper blades.
The truck runs very well. It sounds nice. Someone did nice work on the engine before I bought it. It starts up every time with no trouble. I bought this when I lived in a small town in Kansas and now I live in Omaha, ebraska and I don't have anywhere to garage it. It's parked at the university that I work at right now. I took her for a quick spin today. Long story short, believe this is an outstanding truck - especially for someone that knows how to work on old trucks. There's no shortage of extra work and/or upgrades someone could do on this truck for fun / project - but the truck runs absolutely ship-shape now. I put a lot of money into the truck to make it road worthy but I would categorize this truck as a "cruiser". She's not a fast "hot rod". She's an older lady but she'll treat you right if you don't try to drag race her. She's solid and runs very well.
I've literally had dozens of people pull up alongside me and tell me "nice truck". This is a cool, ice looking truck that gets looks and compliments everywhere I go.
