NEW LOW PRICE JUST BUILT A FEW YEARS AGO WITH ONLY 8800 MILES Custom Build by Tim Brogan NEW PATINA PAINT JOB 350 ENGINE 350 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION NO RUST ON THIS TRUCK CUSTOM WHEELS AIR RIDE SYSTEM AIR CONDITIONING CUSTOM STEREO SYSTEM RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT BUILT TO DRIVE ACROSS THE COUNTRY READY FOR THE POWER TOUR Here is a write up from Classic Trucks magazine "All these years I've been taking old stuff and making it look new ... and now I've taken a nice truck and made it look old," is how Tim Brogan describes his '56 Chevy. The 45-year-old from Blue Springs, issouri, as been building custom rods and trucks since he was 16 and doing what he loves professionally for the last 12 years. This past December he joined forces with Jason at Rock's Rod & Custom in Raytown, issouri, here the two have been cranking out some interesting projects. Tim recently sold a '32 Ford roadster, hich was a nice finished hot rod, nd decided he wanted to build a "low-buck" classic truck, ut with a chassis that could cruise the fairgrounds slammed with 20-inch wheels. See, im's son Matt is into mini-trucks, nd he figured if he built something like this, t'd bridge that generation gap between the two as well as bring the old and new trucks together. Instead of finding a clapped out old truck to start with like he intended, im found a '56 Chevy that was in the middle of an amateur resto that had already been painted; new glass and rubber were installed along with being set up for a small-block and automatic; and it had a Camaro rearend under it. Out back he step-notched the frame, arrowed a 9-inch rearend, uilt his own three-link wishbone suspension system, f course included another pair of 'bags so the 20-inch American Racing Torq-Thrust IIs would tuck the fenderwells. The '93 Chevy 350 was rebuilt by Jason at the shop and runs vintage Chevy valve covers using adapters--it provides plenty of worry-free cruising. The paint wasn't quite up to par as far as Tim was concerned, o he decided to patina it for the barn-fresh look, ollowed by swapping out the cherry chrome grille and bumper for old painted ones and--bingo--the truck was done! 1956 ChevyCHASSIS/FRAME: stock/modified-kicked up front and rear, ocks Rod & Custom REAREND / RATIO: Ford 9in with 2.79:1 gears REAR SUSPENSION: custom wishbone w/Firestone 'bags REAR BRAKES: Speedway Motors 11" disc FRONT SUSPENSION: custom w/Heidts IFS FRONT BRAKES: TCI 11" disc STEERING BOX: rack-and-pinion FRONT WHEELS: American Torq-Thrust II, 8x8 REAR WHEELS: American Torq-Thrust II, 0x10 FRONT TIRES: BFGoodrich, 45/45R18 REAR TIRES: BFGoodrich, 95/50R20 GAS TANK: RCI, nder bed ENGINE: 1993 Chevy 350 by Manns Speed Shop HEADS: stock VALVE COVERS: Vintage Chevrolet MANIFOLD / INDUCTION: GM / Edelbrock 600cfm IGNITION: HEI HEADERS: block-huggers EXHAUST / MUFFLERS: custom mandrel-bent / Thrush TRANSMISSION: Raytown Transmission TH350 BODY STYLE: 3100 Stepside FENDERS FRONT / REAR: stock steel HOOD: stock GRILLE: stock, ainted BED: stock BODYWORK AND PAINT BY: unknown PAINT TYPE / COLOR: patina by owner / turquoise HEADLIGHTS / TAILLIGHTS: stock / stock BUMPERS: stock / Sir Michaels roll pan GAUGES: stock AIR CONDITIONING: Air-Tique STEERING WHEEL: '65 Malibu STEERING COLUMN: '72 C-10, ilt SEAT: '85 Chevy bench UPHOLSTERY BY:GM MATERIAL / COLOR: cloth / maroon LOCATED AT OUR DEALERSHIP WE FINANCE/DELIVER AND SHIP WORLDWIDE Condition Disclaimer This vehicle is being sold as is, here is with no warranty, xpressed written or implied.
