1966 Corvette Big Block Coupe

1966 Corvette Big Block Coupe running a 502 cid/502 HP Chevrolet Bow-Tie crate engine. I will describe the car in sections:

Engine: Gen 6 502/502. Aluminum Bow-Tie heads and intake. New Edelbrock 850 CFM duel feed carb. Custom serpentine belt system with billet aluminum pulleys and power steering reservoir. New jet coated Hooker headers and Flowmaster exhaust. BeCool aluminum core radiator and electric fan. The car runs down the road with coolant temps between 170-190 F. on a 90 F. degree day. It does not like to be driven slow as in a parade...keep in mind you are trying to cool a 502 HP big block. Holley electric fuel pump and regulator. New custom built HEI distributor with mechanical tac drice new Taylor plug wires. 100 amp chrome alternator. New Optima Yellow battery. Runs very strong.

Body: Very nice body and paint. Good chrome and stainless.Torq Thrust II wheels (15 x 7 with new Firestone Indy 500 special edition tires.

Interior: Great: New C-5 black leather sport seats. Flaming River tilt column with custom steering wheel. All gauges rebuilt by "Clocks by Roger". Speedometer increased to read 200 MPH. Clock was converted to quartz movement. Power windows with new window guides and vent window regulators just rebuilt. New heater core vent doors rebuilt. New carpet and door panels.

Frame/Suspension: Drilled/Slotted rotors with new calipers painted red with high temp. paint. Stainless Steel brake lines. 340 Lb. rated rear fiberglass leaf spring with heavy duty rear sway bar. Steeroids rack and pinion power steering. All new ball joints and shocks. Frame perfect. Car drives like a dream.
