Description of 1952 Chevrolet Suburban 3100 |
Item is relisted due to original listing incorrectly placed under "parts". Ebay edict only. Sorry. Are you looking to start a winter restoration on a rare 1952 Chevy Suburban Carryall clam shell version 3100 that spent the last 60 years of its life in Northern California? Providence docs to verify owner history. This 3100 series (1/2) ton Burb has very very little rust with solid floors and is completely original. This Suburban also has the original faded green paint so you can see that nothing is hidden by the primer paint. Still has production writing on the firewall. None of the rare parts were scavenged from this truck. It still has all the roof bows, he middle window inside trim laces, plash guards, nd clam door lift gate sliders. The only piece missing is one of the bottom gate release handles. It was missing when I bought the truck. This truck also has all three rows of seats, 16 cu. in. non-running engine, anual floor shift transmission, nd clam shell rear doors with retractor support cables. I have an OEM rear clam door glass replacement as the original glass is broken. I bought this truck last spring after a very long search and shipped it to my home in Indiana where it's been stored indoors awaiting restoration. I spent over a year looking on the Internet and going to car shows looking for a truck in this good of condition. I'm only selling this 1952 Suburban because I've shifted my interest to a mid 60's 4x4 Suburban. This is a low reserve auction so bid to win! All bidders with 0 purchases must contact me prior to bidding or your bid will be eliminated. A $500 PayPal deposit is required within 24 hours upon winning the auction with balance due within 72 hours. I can assist with loading if needed. Buyer assumes all transport fees. You will need a winch or come-along for your trailer as it does not run.
