Description of 1972 Chevrolet Nova

Up for auction is my 1972 Nova SS Clone. This car started life in Californiaas a Green 6 cylinder, speed power glide, ith a 10 bolt limited slip rear end. I pulled all that crap out, nd built the car the way Chevrolet should have. I bought the car from the 2nd owner, ho had plans of doing pretty much the same thing I did, ut did not have the time.So I tore it down to a shell, nd built it up from there. The car was 99% rust free, ith the exception of a little rust starting at the bottom of both fenders. I put on 2 new ones, nd also installed new door skins and quarter skins, ue to it having a bunch of little whisky dents down both the doors and rear quarters. I didn't want a lot of bondo on it, o the new skins were the logical choice. The floors, runk, ocker panels, nd foront and rear cowl panels all had 0 rust on them. The motor is a 73 Elcamino SS 454 that was rebuilt with a mild RV cam installed as well as being bored out. The tranny is a turbo 400 that was also rebuilt and a B&M shift kit was put in to give it that nasty shift from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. The rear differential is the original, nd still going strong. I repainted it 69-70 Hugger orange, nd installed a 67-68 Camaro rear spoiler, t fits very well, ith only a little trimming doneon the ends to make it fit. I cleaned and repainted the underside of the Nova, nd installed sub frame connectors and a special transmission mount for the turbo 400 both of which I picked up from Summit racing. The seats are out of a 74 nova SS that came with the high back buckets, nd fit perfect. I could go on and on about the time spent on this car, ut that would be boring. So here is list of every thing I have done to this car in the past year and a half.

The headlner is still the original green that is in pretty good shape. I never got to that, nd it is missing the trim pieces that go around the headlner,I don't think theymake after market pieces, o they would have to be found in a wrecking yard, r someone parting out and old nova or ventura.I never came across any. The car runs, rives and looks grea, nd turns heads everywhere it goes. I am sure I forgot something, o if you have any questions please ask prior to bidding, want the new owner to know exactly what he is getting. 1 Bad Ass Nova.
