1978 Chevy Corvette 25th Anniversary L-82 Automatic with all numbers matching with 47,000 original miles in show condition. Options Include: L-82 350 220HP Engine MX-1 Turbo 350 Automatic Transmission FE7 Gymkhana Suspension 722 Red Leather Interior U69 AM/FM Radio(non stereo) 1 of 2057 made ZX2 Convenience Package 3:55.1 Rear Posi Traction Axle 2400 Stall Speed Converter #4274 out of 15,283 Made Power Steering Power Disc Brakes Power Windows Tilt/Telescopic Wheel Cruise Air Conditioning Rear Defrost Car has had 1 repaint in 1998 in base/clearcoat and looks and shines like new----does have some tiny paint chips that were touched up and 1 tiny spot on the nose and on the front left-side nose that were touched up......I have many coats of polish and the shine is perfect and looks like a new car......Drivers side t-top has a tiny crack in the paint on the front corner----hard too see.....All the emblems are original.....The glass is all original except for the windshield that I had to replace due to wiper marks from a bad blade that would not polish out----there are 3 tiny dot marks at the bottom drivers side where the wipers rest.....Interior has new seat covers/foam/hardware and looks like new, arpet front and rear---top and side plastic is all new too.....Dash/console plastic is all original and shines perfect and door panels are all original and look great----each one has a few wear marks where they close against the body when closed......All the gauges work except the clock and oil pressure is always over 50----air conditioning/heat work but the air needs charging......Original radio works and the power antenna was replaced by the previous owner and now has a removable telescoping antenna.....Power windows work perfectly and fast----I did just replace the original side weatherstripping moldings so they get slow when they reach the top due to hitting the new weatherstripping......Headlights open and close perfectly and all the lights/signals/horn works.......Newerred top Optima battery installed too. Engine is all originaland numbers matching and has never been out of the car-----I did replace the fuel pump, ebuild the original carburetor w/new choke pull off, eplaced all the hoses/clamps beltswith GM parts, ilters,and detailed the compartment for shows-----it is all correct....Also has new valve cover gaskets too and newAC plugs/cap/wires/rotor and it runs perfect and starts easy with a few pumps of the pedal.....Engine still has years of life left and is very responsive and fast too.....It goes through around a little less than 1/2 of a quart of oil in between oil changes which is normal.....Radiator is original and has a new brass drain plug and all new coolant----runsbetween 165-195 depending on outside temp.....Transmission is original too and has had filter and oil service in the past and shifts perfect with no problems ever.....I just replaced the rear axle oil 7 days ago with GM gear oil and 2 bottles of posi additive----no axle noises.....Ithad aall new suspension done at a dealer in 11-14 with receipt with newrear leaf spring,front and rear rubber bushings and new KYB shocks too---rides nice and tight with great response due to the Gymkhana suspension option with includes a thicker front stabilizer bar and rear stabilizer too.....Brakes are perfect and all the calipers have been replaced along with the pads----rotors are still the original units that are riveted to the spindles as was done at the assembly line......I did replace the master cylinder too along with the correct cap......Frame is solid with no rust or holes ever and I did undercoat most of it and the wheel wheels too.....The exhaust is still original to the car and is in great shape----I did polish out the mufflers/reardown pipeswith Mothers chrome polish and they look great!.....It sounds stock and not too loud which I always liked.....Wheels have been hand polished with new center caps and lug nuts and tires have plenty of tread left.......Other than paint/some interior parts and suspension it is all original survivor that was always kept inside and never abused......The body gaps are off in the drivers door-to-fender and the passenger door sticks out slightly from the rear quarter panel----this is all the way it rolled off the factory and I have had a NCRS judge look at the car and was told it is all correct.....I have seen many other C3's with this issue and it was due to the fiberglass molds.
