Description of 1979 Chevrolet Suburban

This is my 1979 Chevrolet Silverado 1/2 ton Suburban 4x4 . 350/350 eng /trans . It is what I would call an original survivor . It has not ever been wrecked . It has been in Texas all it's life . There is no rust anywhere. Yes it is faded and a few areas are showing a tiny surface rust . I am referring to the bad cancer rust on so many cars . This is very solid . Bottoms of doors . rocker panels . floors and around windshield are all very solid . Even the dash is perfect with no cracks at all !! When was the last time you saw a 35 year old dash with no cracks !! It has original factory lock out hubs . All windows roll up and down fine . even the back tailgate glass . All glass is good with no cracks . There are a couple very small rock chips in windshield . Doors shut solid . The engine is a 350 Targetmaster replacement of the original 400 with approx 60. 00 miles on it . It has a Edelbrock manifold and carb and it runs great . It has both a auxillary trans and oil cooler . Front and rear A/C . The A/C does work but the freon R-12 has leaked down and I never got around to recharging or doing a retro-fit to r134-a . I drove it to Big Bend camping this summer and it never got close to being hot . The tires are 32 x 11. 50 x 15 BFG All Terrains with approx 6. 00 miles . It is a daily driver and all stickers are current . I have a clean blue Texas title in my name . The original front bench seat has a slip on seat cover . I have a second row seat from an 84 Suburban but not all the bracketry in storage that goes with it . I do not have the third row seat . If you love the Chevy Squarebody's . you will love this suburban. . No trades . It is offered locally for sale and I reserve right to end auction at any time.
