Description of 1972 Chevrolet C-10 Super C10

1972 Chevrolet C-10 Super Cheyenne pick up truck for auction. 8' long box. FRESH from Texas where it lived it's entire life up until very recently. I still have the Texas title & plates and I am in Michigan. I took it in on trade for a car I had for sale. The frame. cab mounts are 100% rock solid. The box has ZERO rust. Very solid. There is some rust just starting on the front of both rocker panels. and a couple small spots on the doors. I was told it is original paint. The man I bought if from owned it for MANY years. The truck has air conditioning but it has been removed. I have all the parts for the a/c though. The reason the a/c is off is because the previous owner put an aluminum water pump on it that doesn't have the mounting bracket holes in it for the a/c. It has the original engine. Runs a little rough - could use a good tune up. or maybe some carb work. Does NOT knock or burn ANY OIL. The interior is original and nice except the side of the drivers seat. It has a fiberglass tonneau cover that was put on the truck IN 1972. The tonneau cover is really unique. To the right person that alone is worth some good money. Truck has brand new tires. Real nice original bumpers. It has the original fuel tank and has 2 extra tanks - one on each side (auxiliary tanks). If you filled all three up you sure could go a long way!! It has good sounding dual exhaust. I have this truck for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auctin at any time. Buy it now and reserve are the same.
