Description of 1961 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210

1961 Chevrolet Bel Air 4 door Vista. No rust. Low mileage. Has been in the family since it was purchased new by my Father in Law late in 1960. Originally powered by a 6 cyl engine coupled to a three speed manual transmission. Currently powered by a 1961 283 engine and turbo hydra-matic transmission that was removed from a 1961 Impala that was being converted to a TPI 350. Currently not running as the automatic steering column and linkage has yet to be installed. The steering column and linkage come with the car. The car was repainted in 1989 using the original color. There are a couple of scratches and the top is sun faded so it will need to be repainted. The trim includes fender birds, as access door chrome trim and the deluxe grill guard with the impala hood release pull. The rims are currently after market, owever, he four original steel rims are included in the auction. The brakes are dry from sitting and the exhaust system was removed to allow for dual exhausts to be installed. Ask questions if you have any doubt about what you are seeing.
