I have decided to do this is a no reserve auction with low starting bid. It is a risk as trucks in not nearly as good condition have sold on ebay at much higher prices. We are listing a number of our restoration project trucks due to personnel health issues and our retirement effort. We are now selling all our intended restoration projects, f which we will are now listing this as our second one. We have restored about a dozen vintage trucks to show quality, ut have far more remaining trucks than that which we will not be able to complete and will probably be listing soon. Our 1970 Chevy C10 is in very good starting condition to be fully restored. Being a Montana truck it has very little rust. Though it was in the fleet of our fully intended restoration projects, t with the others needs to go to a new home since we are trying to retire.
This truck is in restorable good condition with very little rust other some light surface rust. The only body parts it will need are a grille assembly and possibly a right fender, hich could certainly be repaired by any competent body man. This damage is shown in a photo. Only light body work will be needed around the truck. Cab mounts and under the cab is very solid. The rockers are not rusted out in this pickup as they are in the majority of these old trucks so we have included photos to show these are in remarkably good condition. About 6 years ago, e bought this truck from a young man who put a three speed transmission with a floor shifter in it and did the amateur paint work you see. Transmission and drive train seemed to be in good condition and was reported so when we purchased it. The engine is a 350 and runs fin, ut will most likely need rings because it does smoke. We bought this for our future restoration projects because it definitely meets our picky criteria for a good restorable truck. You can call Jim at 406-360-2248 if any further questions. Thanks for your inquiry.
