Description of 1972 Chevrolet C-10 C-10 |
This C-10 Chevy is a true classic and runs strong as is, ut wouldonly benefit from a knowledgable owner to work on it as a project. I bought the truck in South Carolina. I was told that the SALVAGE - REBUILT title was not due to any accidents (the body is all original including paint), ut was due to the truck sitting on a farm for multiple years and in order for it to become street legal again had to be re-established as a SALVAGE - REBUILT title. At the same time, new motor was dropped in and a cd player installed. I have been trying to sell the truck inPennsylvania, ut their strict inspection laws have prevented buyers from wanting to take on this truck. Depending on the DMV laws of your state this may not pertain to you but this is mydisclaimer for states with strict inspection laws: Please Note: In order to get tags and registration for this truck, ENNSYLVANIA law requires you first get an "Enhanced Inspection". This requires taking it to a location that performs these inspections. They will then give you a list of repairs that need to be done in order to have the truck pass. On 09/24/2015 I took the truck to BBack Car Care and they gave us a list of the labor that needs to be done in order to pass the Enhanced Inspection. Included in the photos, s a copy of that list. As I'm sure you know if you live in Pennsylvania, he inspection laws are strict on old vehicles. So a knowledgable and/or willing buyer is ideal to bring this charming truck up to inspection standards. This cost has been factored into the price of the truck and will be the buyers responsibility. There is also rust throughout and deterioration of the wooden planks in the bed. Replacing the planks would be a fun and relatively easy project that would have an immediate effect on the overallappearance of the truck. Another issue I've had in the past, s at times the gears will get stuck in neutral while shifting. I have always been able to get under the truck and manually oil and shift to get back on track. This however will need to bepermanently fixed. Would love to see this truck go to a knowledgable buyer. It's tough to let this truck go andhopingsomeone will appreciate it as much as I have. Truck is located in Doylestown, A. I moved to Miami for work (which is the reason for selling) but left the truck with my father in law where he has been driving it in Pennsylvania.
