For sale is the "Barn Find" we have named "Tater". Stored in a climate controlled garage for nearly 30 years. No Rust on this truck, VER!!! The previous owner, good friend, ought it used in early 1982 from Arazona and brought it back to Maryland. He wanted it to be like the one he had in high school, o he started a project that dragged on for 3 decades. About 5 years ago he passed away suddenly, nd w/o warning. When he first bought the truck he removed the trim, ixed any dings and put it in primer. Later, t got a lift and tires, ots of chrome parts including differential covers chrome headers, il pan, alve covers, lternator, ater pump and air cleaner. The truck got a new Cordova Brown metallic paint job. I bought the truck after he passed about five years ago. When I got it we could not find the tailgate, r bumpers and had not been driven on the road in about 30 years. It took two years to find a prefect tailgate, actory Cheverlet, et it painted and installed as well as flush everything, ew carb, ilters, ct. I was able to find 2 bumpers that were perfect. I have had it on the road for about 3 years and have only driven it a few times. Runs and drives great. I have 5 classic cars and can't seem to find the time to drive them or show them, oI am selling a few. After I sell this truck, will be selling my 1968 Firebird convertible.
