1969 ZL-1 Rally Sport Camaro Prototype Look at our "Mirror Reflections" in the Paint Job This Muscle Car was built as a Correct Replica of the Black and Gold Prototype ZL-1 Camaro Chevy only Built "Two" Black and Gold ZL-1 Prototypes One Automatic and One Four Speed It is as Close as you can Get to a Real ZL-1 with out Spending over $500,000 Put this ZL-1 Replica side by side of an Original and it would be hard to tell the Difference. This Camaro you see now has had a Complete Rotisserie Restoration and was a Low Mileage True RS-SS to start with and has 58,375 Actual miles. The Car was Stripped to a Bare Shell. " See Pictures. " Every nut, olt, iring harness was taken off of this car. Every Part is either New or Rebuilt. There is not one part that was left untouched. The Car was taken to Bare Metal. The Paint is Incredible. Pictures Do Not do the Paint Justice. Most People at a Show will look First at the Paint and then will look at the rest of the Car. The Block is a new ZL-1 427 Block made from the (Original) ZL-1 Molds. The Original 1969 ZL-1 Mold was found in 1998 buy a Chevrolet Engineer when the Winters Foundry was getting rid of Molds they were not using any more. He then Pushed Chevy to make these ZL-1 Blocks again in Limited Quantities. This same Now Retired Engineer did the Up Dating on the New ZL-1 Blocks. This ZL-1 Block is Serial Number 15. This Block will be a Collectors Item because of the Very Low Serial Number. The Correct Holley 850 cfm Carb List #4296 was used The Intake is the Correct 3933198 The Heads are the Correct #3946074 with Date of 5-6-69 and 5-14-69 The Correct Dot Rods were used. The Crankshaft is the Correct Cross-Drilled and Hardened #7115. The Motor is around 550 hp but is Very Street Able. Correct Exhaust Manifolds, orrect Bell Housing, orrect Deep Grove Pulleys, orrect 8 Inch Balancer, orrect Dated Spark Plug Wires, orrect GM Hoses with Part Numbers, orrect Tower Clamps, orrect Spring Ring Battery Cables, orrect 309 Master Cylinder and Booster, orrect Curved Neck Radiator, tc, tc The Transmission is a (Very Rare) 1969 Dated M-22 Rock Crusher Muncie with C code. The 12 Bolt Rear end is rebuilt with 410 gears and a Posi Power Disc Brakes all Rebuilt and Correct Paint and Plating.
