Description of 1951 Chevrolet Other Pickups |
Here is a good running 1951 Chevy 3100 truck with a 235 Thrift Master 6 Cylinder engine. It has the original 3 speed on the column that shifts good. This truck was restored about 20 years ago. The engine is out of a 1955 model Chevy truck as is the open drive shaft rear end. It has New Bumpers front and back as well as a New Grill and Headlight Bezels. The wood bed is in good condition and is not all rotten. It could stand to be sanded down and stained again. The paint is showing it's age and there are several places where it has come off truck. ( See Pics ) There is only one place that I have seen where rust has ate thru and that is on the drivers side cab corner. The rest of body is solid with only surface rust. The interior is in good condition but is dated. The original gauges were redone at some point and put back in. The speedometer does not work and neither does the gas gauge. The Oil Pressure gauge and Temp gauge appear to be working. It even has a working heater. The headlights and taillights work and it has a blinker system that was installed. Even the lights behind the gauges work. The tires are good. This would be a great truck to fully restore and make a high dollar truck or just enjoy as is. I have alot more pics of this truck if you are interested in seeing just let me know. My contact number is available upon request. This truck is also For Sale locally and on other sites so auction could end early. It is being sold as is with no warranty given or implied in anyway. Pre sale inspections are always welcomed and encouraged so you will exactly what you bidding on. This must be done Before End of Auction. If you bid and meet reserve and are high bidder at end of auction then you have bought it. This truck is being sold with a current Georgia registration as Georgia will not issue a title on any vehicle this old. You will be able to get a title in your state with the paperwork I give you. Georgia is just a Non Title state on older vehicles. Any questions please ask. Thanks for looking |
