Description of 1986 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 3500

1986 Chevrolet K30 one-ton with a 6. 2L diesel engine. Odometer reads 245. xx. Truck runs and drives but is not safe for road travel due to the obvious cab rust issues as shown in the pics and an apparent partially locked up emergency brake or rear brake caliper. I am therefore selling this as is and as a PARTS TRUCK ONLY. As stated. truck does run and can be driven onto your trailer but should still be viewed as a donor truck only and what you see is what you get. Truck is a 4x4 and should have the 4. 10 rear end and the TH400 automatic transmission. The 6. 2L engine starts up quickly and runs out strong. I cannot say whether or not any mechanical work of note has been done to the truck in the past. I know next to nothing about the mechanical history as I purchased the truck from a friend of mine this past spring who had intended to swap out the cab and continue using it. but never got around to it. I transferred the bed and snow plow over to one of our other trucks and I have no need for the engine. tranny. or rear end at present. Nor do I have any other vehicles in our fleet with which the parts are compatible. Mike signed the title and did not date it when I bought it and I have never signed it and sent it in as I never intended to license it. I will gladly do so at the request of the buyer and Priority Mail the returned title to you or you can date it and send in as your needs dictate. Truck is for local pick-up only and is setting here at my shop so we can work with your schedule to help you load.
