Description of 1950 Chevrolet Other Pickups

1950 Chevy 3100 ½ ton pick up Up for auction a really sweet 1950. half to pick up. 235 6 cylinder. 3 speed on the column. runs and drives a sweet as can be. Its been done in a deep red color and the paint is really. really nice. On a scale of 1-10. it a 9. 5; no scratches. no dings. not one mark. all steel fenders. The best thing about this one is it is as tight a truck as I have had. Starts easily. purrs at an idle. accelerates very smoothly and tracks very straight. No sway or wander in steering. stops perfectly with one push. up shifts and downshifts very smooth. 12 volt conversion. everything works but the gas gauge. No smoke and very minimal leaks. A real joy to drive. It does have a rather different look to it. well at least different to me. It does have some custom touches to it that are really not my taste. but are kinda cool. As you can see it has an upgrade set of wheels and tires. and it has full window tint. Seats and door panels are done in velour material. and the interior trim is blacked out. As I said. it is really not my taste. but it does run and drive just like a completely stock truck. The only area that is slightly just alright is the wood in the bed. but otherwise a very nice example. As far as the business goes. this is an auction. and yes I do have a reserve. Please do not call me and ask me the reserve. but do call me to ask me any question you want. I love to bullshit about old trucks. Yes it is for sale locally. but unless you are local. please bid what you can afford and what you think it’s worth. I do know the market for these trucks rather well. This is not a 100 point “body off”. but is also not 45K. It is priced very fairly for what it is and what it is not. The truck is located in New Haven CT and yes you are very welcome to come see and bring the mechanic. Currently a clear PA title. I am interested in trades but they must be trucks. Also.
