Available for Sale is one Beautiful Fresh Built. Just Completed 1972 Chevy Nova Custom Hand Built Street/Strip Hot Rod. This car was stripped down to the frame and rebuilt by Dick Arbitelle and the team at Arbitelle Performance in Vero Beach. Florida. No Expense was spared in the construction and assembly of this 72 Nova. This is an Outstading example of the Quality Workmanship that Makes Arbitelle Performance Second to None. The Engine in the Nova is a Dart . 030 over 4-Bolt Main Block with A COLA Gundrilled Knife Edge Forged Crankshaft Mated to MANLEY Forged Beam Connecting Rods and Dome Topped Pistons Creating 12. 5 to 1 Compression Ratio. (Race Fuel Ready) The Heads are AFR Air Flow Research Aluminum Heads with 210 intake and 160 exhaust. The Heads have been CNC Ported and Polished then Port Matched to an Aluminum Weiand Team G Intake Manifold. All Machine work Performed at HBR Heads By Rick. Valves Operated by a 620 Lift Roller Cam matched Solid Roller Lifters and Roller Rocker Arms. Fuel Delivery is provided by An 850 Quick Fuel Technology 4-Barrel Dual Feed Carburetor. 15 Gallon Fuel Cell mounted in the Trunk of the Nova as well as an Electric Fuel Pump. The exhaust System is Custom Built 2-1/2 inch Header tubes that have been Jet-Hot coated inside and out and Exit through 3 inch Flowmaster Dual Muffers. Electronic Ignition is an MSD Digital 7 Unit with MSD Pro Series Coil and Moroso Silicone Pro Series Wires. Transmission is a Race Prepped Hughes Powergide 2-Speed with Reverse Lockout and Trans Brake. with a Matching Hughes Heavy Duty 4500 Stall Tourque Converter. Transmission is shifted by a Hurst Quarter Stick Shifter Unit. A Custom Heavy Duty 3 inch Driveshaft connects the Transmission to a Custom Built Ford 9-Inch Rear Axle Housing With Heavy Duty Back Brace and Competition Engineering Wishbone Rear Axle Locator. The gear ratio in the rear is 4. 56 to 1 and uses Mark Williams Axles and Spool to put power to the wheels. Rear Suspension is Leaf Spring with Competition Engineering Tubular Traction Bars and Adjustable QA1 Coil Over Shocks. This Car Hooks Up Hard Brakes on this Car are 4-Wheel Disc with Wilwood Calipers. All the Wheels on the Nova are One Piece Aluminum Drag Star wheels Mated to Mickey Thompson DOT Radials. (street Legal) Inside the Nova All the Stock Interior has been Replaced including the complete Dashboard. Rear Seat. Door Panels and Carpet. The Front Seats have Been replaced with Race Seats covered in a Black Vinyl to match the rear seat. This Nova is Eqipped with an NHRA Roll Cage with Removable Side supports for ease for entry and exit of both the driver and passenger seats. The Body and Paint on this Nova are Immaculate. In the Beginning of this Project The Body of this Nova was in Perfect Shape and required Very Little Restoration. All the Panels on this Nova are All Steel. No Fiberglass. No Bondo and No Fillers. The Original Hood has been replaced with A Steel Cowl Induction Hood. All the Other Panels on this Nova are Original and Fantastic. Take a Close look at these Pictures.
