1955 Chevy 2 dr postThe car has a 355 small block with Aluminum heads, DS 671 Blower, uel 450 Holley carbs, horty header with flowmater exhaust. The motor runs on pump gas and runs 180 in the Florida heat. The radiator isGriffinAluminum with electric fan with overflow. Thetransmissionis aSaginaw4 speed with newer clutch assembly. The rear is 10 bolt with stock gears I thing low 3's with ladder bars. I converted the brakes to power front disc with chrome mastercylinderand booster. The floor pan was replaced with new 1 peace and body bushings where also done at the same time. The body is fairly strait and solid no rust issues but paint is not great. The color is maroon it's hard to tell in the pictures but it's nice when the sun is shinning on it. It almost looks black at night. There are some touch up spots and smallscratchesit's a driver not a show car. There is a small crease in thepassengerfront fender please look at the pictures you can see it's not very bad. It has newwiringharness withmodemfuses. The only thing not working is the speedometer, he old cable was broken inside the gauge the cable is new it just needs a new cluster. Thepassengerside wing window handle was broken off when I got it and it's still missing. The bumpers are original and showing some age. The wheels and tires are 15 in American racing and very nice. The car is very reliable it always starts right up and runs strong. The car is fast and fun to drive I really don't want to sell it but I have 2 -1955 chevys and I really don't need 2 of them and I have other projects to work on so it's up for sale.
