Up for sale here I have my patina yellow 1941 Chevrolet half ton short bed pickup truck that was last tagged in 1963. It looks like it was originally red then was painted yellow before sitting many years in a field where the very front of the truck looks to have gotten a little close to a grass fire. These are the same as the 1942 models and very similar to the 1946 model other than the headlights. The truck has a clear and current KS title in my name that matches the number on the body plate so engine swaps won't be an issue. I bought the truck from a guy who bought it out of the field around 10 years ago and he blew it apart and let it sit. I was going to build it but I found a baby blue brush painted 1937 Chevrolet truck that I'm going to build instead. I just bolted the 41 together so the fitment of all panels may not be the best but all parts are original to this truck. The 216 and transmission are most likely junk. The previous owner torched the pedals, hifter and brake handle along with some of the steering parts but I will have it steering for transport. The parts that I know are missing are both bumpers, oor stops, eat, as tank, he grille molding, ark light lenses and the door lock knob. I have the hood side moldings and the bed splash aprons that aren't on it in the pictures as well as all the spare parts pictured I'm including from my 46 build. I might be able to come up with a stock seat or you can look for a third row out of an early 90s to late 80s caravan as one of those fit well in my 46 that we built in 2013. The doors on open, lose and latch but the exterior handle on the passenger side needs work. The window and windshield cranks work but need some lubrication. The body on the truck has very minimal rust through mainly on the drivers lower outer cowl, he front bed panel, he header panel inside the cab and some small issues in the belt line and tailgate. The fenders are cracked and welded with very minimal rust through. The running boards are about as perfect as a pair this old could be with zero rust and just a slight indention on the outer edge of the ps. The bed floor is steel laid over the original wood and metal strips. The frame is solid front to back other than rust in the crossmember below the radiator support. The doors are excellent with very minimal rust in the door panels down low. The dash is complete and I'm guessing one of the old owners carved his name below the instrument cluster Glen D. Williard. I don't have the keys so I've never opened the glove box and I don't know what's inside. The sun visor is a comet skyshield that was beat up by kids while the truck was in the field. The drivers side drip rail needs to be tacked back on as its trying to shave itself off the body. This truck would make an outstanding shop truck, atina rat rod or hot rod build. It could probably be restored back to stock but that would be more of a challenge because of the way it was torn apart by the previous owner. The truck is selling with no reserve and I reserve the right to end the auction early because the truck is for sale locally. This truck is for sale worldwide and if paying through paypal add 3% to the final sales price. I can deliver the truck within 300 miles of Ottawa, s for $1 per loaded mile.
