This is a gorgeous 1957 GMC Stepside w/big back window. It was restored by a local in Montana who owned it for 38 years and restored it near the end of the time he owned it and it has been garage kept since. It is in incredible shape but not perfect by any means. The paint job looks great from 10 feet away but up close imperfections and a few dents and dings can be seen including a few paint bubbles and cracks along the rear passenger fender. Both door steps have had some rust repair and have had metal attached underneath to strengthen and brace. The under carriage is in great condition, one right and painted black. The only rust underneath is on the headers and exhaust. The wood in the bed is in great shape. No cracks in any glass and windows roll up and down great. Both wing windows have fogging on the edges and the passenger side works and pivots but not great. The headlights, rake lights, linkers and brights work great. The heater is not installed but comes with the truck. The seat is the original seat with a seat cover over it. There is a rubber mat that fits well as well as a roof insert. The gauges are not hooked up and I've been told the Speedometer doesn't work. The engine 283 V8 (from a 1965 Chevrolet) starts up and runs well. It is an original 4 speed transmission with a granny low gear in 1st. It is a 12 volt system with an alternator added. I have a clear Oregon title. It turns heads everywhere you go and gets constant attention. It would be a great daily driver as it runs and drives great or you can continue to improve it restore it. I has been in the rain very little since it's restoration. Please ask any questions you may have and I'll do my best to answer them.
