Cosworth Vega project car 5 speed/4.10 posi/rare color combination

1976 Cosworth Vega #2750 in its original colors of Mahogany (or Firethorn?) with white and red interior. I purchased this car locally from its second owner, ho bought it around 1982. I have a few other CVs and was saving this for a Weber conversion project.

Engine turns over by hand and appears completely untouched. I have kept the cylinders lubed but never tried to start it. Car rolls and steers but tires don't hold air very long.

Body has serious rust - ironically the floors look great, ut it has frame rust around rear lower control arms, eft front control arm, tc. Doors are completely rusted through but I have a couple good doors available separately.

Hatch is excellent. Includes a spare windshield and rear quarter windows.

5 speed transmission shifts, .10 posi turns freely.

Well preserved interior, ith uncracked red dash, lean GT gauge cluster (note the period Stewart Warner stage III gauges added to the dash cubbyhole). Driver seat has a tear in the seat bottom. Other seats are ok.
