For Sale Custom built 1957 Chevy 2 door 210/ Bel/Air Sedan. This car is currently being featured in a 6 page spread of the January 2016 issue of Maximum Drive Magazine. It is in the news stands now or you can read the article on-line. Now for the details: This is a frame off restoration.- Reiter's Metal Crafters did the body work and the body panels are as good as they get. The body fit is simply outstanding. You will be hard pressed to find better body gaps on another 57 Chevy regardless of price.Vehicle was painted with Tri-Coat Inferno Red with custom flames.The chrome and trim on this car are show quality as you will see in the pictures.A picture book showing the build process is included with the purchase of the car. Engine - is a GM crate ZZ502/502 HP with an 8 pot Hilborne Electronic Fuel injection system and a Fast Engineering program. A 7 quart Milodon oil pan was added and to keep it running cool a Superiorradiatorwas installed. We have both bullet Air Cleaners as well as the Velocity stacks. R134a Vintage Air Conditioning was installed along with March serpentine system keeping everything in perfect alignment Transmission - is a GM Turbo 400 with a custom oil cooler mounted on the frame Chassis - Original 1957 Ladder frame was restored and painted with Imron paint. Jim Meyers custom tubular A Arm coil over front suspension with power rack and pinion was installed. A narrowed Mosher 9" Ford rear end with a 3.00 Auburn traction lock and Jim Meyers 4 link coil overs were added to give this car a great ride. Wilwood 4 piston disc brakes with an ABS brand master cylinder and accumulator mounted in the frame gives this car excellent stopping ability. A custom built 24 gallonaluminumwas installed and all suspension components were power coated. Interior - The original dash was restored and updated with custom Rod Gauges. Vintage A/C heat and defrost controls are mounted in their original position. All trim was either replaced or restored using BelAir dash trim.A Glide split bench front seats with center arm rest was used to give you a very comfortable ride. Seats were covered in grey leather and cloth trim. A flaming river tilt steering column was also installed. All window are power operated. Wheels and tires - Boyd Coddington Billet Shadow wheels were used. 18x7 in the front and 18x9 in the rear. Tires are Nitto 225/45ZR18 fronts and 255/45ZR18's in the rear. This car was built with the best parts possible and is truly a high quality ride. If you ever wanted a 1957 Chevy that has excellent power, ides and drives like a current model sedan, ou should come out and take a look prior to the end of the auction.You will not be disappointed.
