1949 Chevrolet 2 door fleetline rust free ( California car all its life) in very good condition miles are believed to be original with only 59k. The motor is the original 216 with 3 speed manual on the column. Interior is beautiful, eats have been redone, ll door panels and mohair headliner are original and in great shap, ll bakelite knobs are immaculate, nbsp;highly desirable accessory steering wheel in good shape. Motor runs great has new Fenton headers with new dual exhaust great sound. Car was converted to 12 volt with new alternator, oil, nbsp;Thickstun valve cover, ew hoses and battery. All gauges work like they should. Clutch engages great with no hesitation. Car runs great overall with plenty of power 65-70 MPH all day long. The brakes work good although I pump them sometimes, nbsp;I ordered a new master cylinder for it which will be included. All lights work on the dash, love box, adio, ourtesy, ach, eadlights, arking lamps and rear lights. The original radio, urn signals, everse light and brake lights do not work not sure if its the brake light switch. The foglights were recently added they are NOS and are not hooked up, 've included the box I purchased them in. All glass is good shape with no cracks only showing normal wear, ll windows roll up and down like they should. All locks work with the original key. The car does have de arched leaf springs with new air shocks in the rear and 3" blocks to give it a nice stance. The front does have lowered coils to drop the car apprx 2". All 15' tires (G78 15") are in great shape with white walls. The front accessory hub caps have been straightened, olished and painted correct to GM colors. All chrome, bumpers, igh bars, nd wrap arounds) on the car are in good shape but are not show quality same with the stainless trim on the car is in very good shape. The paint seems to be a repaint, ack to its original color which shows well and has nice shine. This is a very nice straight original car with no body rot and rust on it at all, loors are all solid. Car was purchased in Oakland, A back in 1949 and remained in Sacramento, A until I purchased the car two years ago. I have purchased another car and do not have a need for this car anymore.
