Finished in Cyber Gray Metallic over a custom Black interior, his 1968 Pro-Touring is Camaro not only sharp looking, ut a dream to drive. Classic looks, nd a modernized... well, verything is the name of the game here!

During the restoration the Chevy was media blasted down to bare metal and built from the ground up. The floors are new, s are the rear quarters and the trunk pan. The Camaro is completely solid as a rock now and was reassembled with all new hardware, ll new trim, ew glass, ew chrome and new seals. The wiring harness is new from front to rear in in the car and the headlights are now HID and the tail lights and side markers are LED. The new paint job is a DuPont Cyber Gray Metallic as seen on the last generation Chevy Corvette. It is slick and has been properly sanded and buffed.

The car is a handling machine and rides on coil overs on all 4 corners. The front end is comprised of DSE upper and lower control arms with QA1 coil overs and a Hotchkis Sway Bar. The car uses a Global West 600 series steering gear box that is a quick ratio unit. The rear suspension has a Ridetech 4-link with Ridetech coil overs. Bringing this modernized muscle car to a stop is a set of C5 front calipers with 13" drilled/slotted rotors. The rear brakes are have 11" rotors with GM metric calipers/parking brake. The master cylinder is a nice Wilwood unit.

The Camaro uses a block from the SDPC Raceshop. Their LS short blocks are built using the latest Rottler CNC block machining center and Rottler CNC vertical hone for a race prepared blueprinted block and quality controlled cylinder bore finish that is normally found in professional racing engines. The crank, onnecting rods, ings and bearings are precision matched and balanced on the latest CWT balancer to insure a vibration free rotating assembly for fast throttle response and proven durability.

The transmission is a Tremec TR6060 6-speed with a custom McCleod shifter and a DSS 3.5 aluminum CV joint drive shaft. The rear end is a Ford 9" from Quicktime performance with 31 spline axles, Currie Nodular 3rd member with 3.50 gears and a traction loc Posi unit. This car straight gets it off the line, ips down the road, nd cruises like a modern car on the highway.

The interior of the Camaro is gorgeous and features a set of Autometer Carbon Fiber electric gauges with Fuel, peedo, ach, oltage, il Pres., nd Water Temp. The front seats are by Corbeau and the center console is out of a new Camaro and looks amazing. Keeping the cabin nice and cool is a Vintage Air Gen IV Heat/AC system with a Vintage Air 3 Knob billet controller. These systems are killer and make Summer driving a peach. The door panels are update with Deluxe '69 panels and pumping out the tunes is a Pioneer Head Unit with Bluetooth and handsfree functions. There are 4"speakers mounted in custom kick panels and 6x9's in the rear package tray.

The Camaro really has to be driven to be appreciated as it's quite fast and easy to drive as well. If you are a looking for the best of the new, nd the best of the old, e've got the ticket.Â
