Description of 1983 Chevrolet Camaro

This is a rare third gen Camaro. This is a Z28 5 Speed with mechanical clutch. The original motor was the L69 305 4B carburetor. which they only made about 3. 00 of the T5 and this engine combination that year. Sadly I do not have the original motor it was pulled out at some point and scrapped. However. this car is solid platform for a classic restore or a continue build. The engine in the car currently is a built 350 with about 40. 00 miles on it. I don't know the lower end of the motor. but the top end is Edelbrock aluminum RPM heads. Edelbrock RPM intake. Brand new Edelbrock 1406 600 CFM electric choke 4 barrel carburetor. HEI distributor with Accel super coil with 8. 5mm super conductor MSD plug wires. custom built headers/ exhaust with stainless steel tips. and Chevrolet aluminum center bolt valve covers. The clutch is a performance OEM Sachs that has about 20. 00 miles on it. The clutch fork and throw-out bearing are new as well. The T5 has about 20. 00 miles on it and shifts flawlessly. The drive shaft is original and the rear axle is the original 10 bolt with 3. 73 gears. The suspension is all original besides Koni shocks. The brakes have been converted over to 4 wheel disk brakes and have 60. 00 plus left on pads. Brake calipers painted with red Duplicolor caliper paint. Front wheel bearings replaced and repacked 3. 00 miles ago. The rims are Z28 18in clones of Iroc Z rims. I do not have the original rims for the car. I just rebuilt the whole front end of the car new arm bushings. ball joints. gear steer. sway bar links. steering linkage. and steering wheel shaft coupler. The body of the car has 140. 00 miles on it. The t-tops are in good shape and do not leak as far as I know. The only bad things about the car is a small dent on passenger side rear quarter panel and rust spots on both doors. Will be easier to replace doors if you repaint car than to salvage them. The car since I have had it has never been in rain and I hand wash it. The car is garage kept and only driven on nice days. I only accept cash and will allow test drives if cash is shown first. Title is clean and in hand. May consider a trade on a nice fox body mustang 1987-1993 will throw in extra cash was well if the fox is clean with bolt ons.
