I'm moving soon and unfortunately will no longer have the garage space to keep this beauty. This is a rare all original '57 Chevy 3200 pickup. Overall it's very clean and in great shape for its age. I did most of the restoration work in 2009 which included removing body rust, ixing minor dents and priming for paint. I also sand blasted, rimed and painted the frame. Save for two rust spots on the rear fender (pictured) and some touch up on the primer the truck is ready to be painted. Here is a list of parts and rebuilds that I did in 2009:
- New fuel tank
- New tires
- New side glass (wing windows and side windows)
- New side and rearview mirrors
- New exhaust
- New fuel pump
- New distributor cap and rotor
- New shocks
- Alternator installed (I have the original generator)
- Rebuilt engine
- Rebuilt carburetor
- Rebuilt brake master cylinder and all brakes
- Rebuilt gauge cluster
- Rewired engine
- Rewired lights (not completed)
There is about 1500-2000 miles on the rebuilt engine (I drove it from Arkansas to Savannah, A). A few years ago we were considering doing an engine swap with a V8 but it didn't work out so we put the original engine back in and never fully finished putting it back together, hich is why it isn't running at the moment (it's been garaged the whole time). If I've missed anything feel free to shoot me a message and happy bidding! Note: the pictures of the truck outside are from a few years ago, he pictures in the garage are current.
