Description of 1961 Chevrolet Corvette

I was looking for a 1961 for over 4 years because I loved the 1961 my cousin Robert had owned when he lived in Las Vegas. Any one looking for a 1961 Corvette will know that finding one in excellent condition is extremely difficult. After purchasing this car it turned out that it was the same car he had owned. After finding this out I was able to get detailed information on the car and all for work he had done to it. When I purchased the car the speedometer and tachometer were off slightly so I had Commercial Speedometer in West Sacramento go through both and they are now perfect. This Corvette has an very straight body. excellent fit on doors. trunk and hood. The radio is original however it does not work. The original motor and dual 4 barrel carburetors have been rebuilt with the carbs synchronized. The motor runs smooth and pulls strong. The entire steering system has been rebuilt with new wheel bearings. nbsp;new sway arm bushings and control arm bushings. Brake lines and brakes have been rebuilt/replaced. New tires and alignment. Steers excellent and with ease and there no wander. Hub cabs are in excellent condition. New soft-top was installed after purchase and is date coded and correct for the 1961 year. New carpet was installed just after purchase and is in immaculate condition. Undercarriage is in beautiful condition.
