Description of 1970 Chevrolet Camaro

This listing is for a 1970 Camaro. I have owned this car since the age of 14, am now approaching 46. I decided to go through the car one more time about six years ago. Unfortunately I also built a home, garage etc. Iam missing the ability to drive a musclecar around especially with the family. The finished project just isn't going quick enough for my liking so I want to explore a sale. This is what I have to offer someone who wants a bad ass Camaro when finished. This car was a finished tubbed and blown street car for about 20 years, arely driven before being dismantled. I wanted to do everything I couldn't afford to do the last time, nd make it better than ever.

As you see in the pictures there is a lot I have done so far. The car was completely stripped to the shell. I installed new one piece floor pan. I installed new full rear qtrs. I installed a new rear tail light panel upper and lower. I also purchased a new trunk lid, owl hood, ront fenders, pper header panel and a lower valance. I also installed a new upper dash/cowl section. I also bought a brand new core support, nd inner fenders. All this was done because when I was young I repaired these panels because I couldn't afford new ones. The doors were replaced back in the day and are as good as new. The car was alreadytubbed in the early years professionally, s was theFord 9in. rear end shortened. The entire car was blasted in every nook and cranny as was the entire sub frame and suspension. The sub frame, uspension, nd rear housing were all powder coated. I also powder coated the core support and inner fenders. I have the original bumpers for the car that were re chromed years ago, ut still look great.

Here are some of the other things that have been purchased. Aluminum fuel cell, luminum driveshaft, wheel disc brakes, ickey Thompson Street radials, ickey Thompson HR1 aluminum wheels, oil over shocks, laming River Bolt in rack and pinion, laming River column, ll new door seals never opened, ew grille, ew marker lights, ew headlight bezels, ew trunk lock, ew license plate lights, nd I am sure more.

Interior wiseI have new black carpet, ew black aftermarket seats, uto meter gauge cluster, urst shifter, nd the original center console. I also have some custom door panels and rear interior panels.

The engine was built locally years ago and I probably have documentation somewhere. It is a .030 small block, ast heads that have 194/202 stainless valves. The carb and intake are Edelbrock,, he headers are Heddman. The distributor is a MSD. I have painted it and installed all new gaskets during this latest process. Keep in mind although the engine isn't brand new as far as years go it probably has less than 1000 miles on it during its life in the car.

The car needs some finish body work and obviously paint. The body work being in the rear quarters, st from the process of installing them. The only thing to purchase would front and rear glass. I do have door glass.

I can answer any questions as I am sure there are many. Like I said I have ownedthis car for 32 years. I drove it in high school and have spent many dollars over the years. Give me a call 440/453-3137 Brett
