1976 Chevrolet Monza.. 1 owner. 38599 original miles. 4.3 v8. On Jan-17-16 at 10:00:26 PST, eller added the following information: Mornin.....Sunday Mornin...... this is my wife's car she and her mother bought new in Grand Rapids Michigan..... It is complete and correct. Not abused, acked or butchered. It had a repaint ten years ago for worn out paint and some small scabs. It has sat for the past ten years in the garage as she found another she liked better. All told it sat in Florida for a time and then came back to Michigan twenty years ago..... The car is solid and runs like a watch....the fuel system needs a sending unit and carb rebuild.... we have it wired to an electric pump and that works well. Originally these come with in tank pusher pump units. No room for the standard small block mechanical. I will get it on the lift and take some underbody pictures to show how nice it really is....There have been many offers to take it and tub it with four hundred horse. But my wife does not want to see that done..... the trans seals need to be serviced, nd the whole car gone over to drive it. the tires are twenty years old and knee deep in tread.....some interior plastic is bad and the carpet needs a restain.... the floors are solid. as is the trunk. this is a fine example of a V8 Monza. fire away with the questions after I get the underside pics up.....the car will be sold.
On Jan-18-16 at 12:40:49 PST, eller added the following information: Monday January 18..... we put the car up on the lift today for underside pictures..... I know they show rust.....but it is not rust out nor rot.... this condition comes from sitting on a concrete floor for forty years..... if you look at the rockers and quarters....you see solid and spot welds..... if you were to do this car....one would dust it off and refinish the underside shiny.... the structure is solid.....surface rust is a term..... so.....as i said....it is an original 1976 Chevrolet Monza notchback V8 car....... with 38k original miles and has the original family owners.... the motor runs smooth and is very quiet...and so is the exhaust.....it shifts well, tarts and stops....... this auction will not be taken down for local listings......this is a true auction. if the reserve is not met the highest bidder will be called first. after that there are two interested parties locally who may or may not bid.... if not sold it, he auction will run again. bid to win......these were all tubbed, aced, recked and rotted....not many nice ones left.
