1987 IROC T-TOP Z-28 5.7 LITER

Offered up from our collection for your consideration is this 1987 IROC CAMARO Z-28. My father and I are both retired avid car collectors. We take a lot of pride and time in taking detailed pictures of everything on the vehicle as well as an honest description of both the good and bad on the vehicle. Our goal is to sell a car and both parties are happy with what they are getting.

First off this car had its paint restored within the last 2 years. This car was a real original rare yellow Iroc Z-28. The vehicle was keyed which lead to the recent repainting of the complete car. When repainted the paint work was done professionally with ppg basecoat/clear coat and upgraded to Corvette yellow. All door jambs under hood areas and trunk were all painted this color to match at the time of the work.

The body on this car has no dents or dings or body work performed prior to the repaint. The doors have no sag and close firmly and as they were when new. The hood and trunk both close properly with alignment issues or leaks.

The paintwork has been hand sanded and buffed to a mirror like finish with no orange peel or imperfections. This paint job was not done cheaply with any corners cut I wanted it perfect to continue to enjoy the car. It is a real head turner and gets compliments for its amazing condition regularly. The only issue I have with the paint is the driver side pillar by the windshield has a small area attempting to bubble. I will gladly submit further pictures upon request showing this.

The tires were recently replaced with Sumitumo HTR 245/50R16 tires. The rims are in great condition with no curb damage.

The carpet in the car is dark and shows little to no signs of wear or age. The power seats are in great shape except for driver side bolster has a small ¾ inch tear where the stitching is failing and a small pencil sized hole. Vehicle has an aftermarket stereo with CD player. The Dash is in great uncracked condition with no tears or blisters. The gauges are all clear and function perfectly.

The car recently was being serviced for oil change and maintenance locally and one of their employees started the vehicle with no oil in the engine after it being drained. This caused a bottom end knock that lead to a dispute leading to the replacement of the engine.

The original 305 in the vehicle was replaced with a new full crate tuned port 5.7L 350 less than 100 miles ago. During the engine replacement the brakes were serviced with the lines being replaced due to surface cracks and the calipers were replaced also at this time. Included in the maintenance at the time the A/C was overhauled and now blows ice cold with new belts and no issues.

This car has no mechanical issues or leaks on it from front to back. Power steering works effortlessly with firm brakes. The suspension has no rattles or issues it handles great driving down the road.

You will be hard pressed to find another IROC this color in this clean of condition with the newly upgraded engine and all recent maintenance.
