Description of 1959 Chevrolet El Camino

I am listing this car for my friend who is almost 80 years old. As you can see from the pictures, e take care of his cars, nd maintains them about the best I have ever seen.He has had this car since the early 1990's, nd he had it restored in 1993. The car is as clean as you will find a 57 year old Chevy. I never say this, ut the pictures do not do this car justice.The car has even been in one magazine a few years ago.
I am handling the transaction, nd he is setting the price.
The car has been garaged since restored, nd he drives it around town about 3 days a week, o 7-11 for coffee and then on a 5 to 10 mile round trip around Rancho Cucamonga.
This is all the important info:
The engine is a 350 V-8, ith a 350 transmission. The car has a working, nder dash, ir conditioning system, he factory power steering, nd front non-power disc brakes. All the stainless and chrome are near new condition except the one emblem on the tail gate.It is a little pitted.The only issue I could find with the paint are two tiny spots on the lower left side of the tailgate. They are from when it was painted 22 years ago. Both are no bigger then the size of half of an pencil eraser. You really have to go over the car to even see them. I like to mention anything I see.He hasn't been able to find one.
The 1956 California plates were nos when he bought them, nd are still very minty. I have blocked out the numbers so people don't "drop" by his house.I sold a car for another friend, nd a cop ran the plates and showed up unannounced and scared his wife.
The interior is in excellent condition, ith two radios. The one in the dash, nd a blue tooth stereo with a remote in the back. As you can see from the pictures, he interior doesn't need a thing.
The air conditioning works, s does the power steering. The front upper and lower control arms, s well as the ball joints are all new. The bed is coated with Zolatone.
There is no rust.The tires are still in good condition, ith Chevy rally wheels.The car has a tiny oil leak, ne that would be expected for a 57 year old car. It is literally the size of a dime after about three days of driving. If you are a car guy, hen you know this is considered normal for this type and age of car.The front window glass has the expected mild scratching from being so old, o it isn't perfect.This is a cod deal only.
