I am selling my 1976 Corvette Stingray. This is the L-82 model with a 4 speed manual transmission. In addition to being more difficult to find that the L-48, his is a numbers matching car with original parts. See the attached picture with the window sticker that reflects all the upgrades to this vehicle when it came off the line. I am selling this car with open disclosure. There are some minor fixes that need to be made and I can recommend someone who has worked on the car since I have owned it. Here is a list of repairs that need to be made. The people who work on the car for me quoted me minimal $$ to repair. Repairs: - Fuel gauge does not work. I was toldthe gauge needs to be replacedand an easy fix. I put gas in it every time I drive it even though I only drive it 12-15 miles at a time. - Speedometer works sometimes. I was also told the wires are loose and is an easy fix. It will work and then when you stop an out the car back in 1st gear it won't work. Then the next time it works again. - The driver side door handle just started getting stuck. I use the inside handle to open the door. Should be an easy fix as well. Was told just a clip. - One headlight bulb is out as seen in the pics. - The front brake calipers need to be adjusted and the front driver side brake needs to be bled to fix a pull to the left when braking. - passenger mirror needs to be tightened down it is loose. - Was quoted $600-$1000 to fix everything on the car by Bromley's Corvette repair in Scottsdale, Z. I had it inspected by a second source, ntegrity Fleet Service in Gilbert, Z. They said the car is in well above average condition for a 40 year old car. They said the car is one of the best they have seen inside and out. They agreed with the amount to make the repairs as quoted by Bromley's. **Disclosure**: If you are looking for a 40 year old car in mint condition with modern upgrades and no minor issues, his is not the car for you. This car is a true matching numbers L-82 and has had a lot of work done to it. If this car was in perfect condition, t would be listed for a whole lot more. With that said, lease take into account that I am disclosing all the issues with the car and the quotes received to fix it. I am selling as is so I adjusted the price down to reflect the minor repairs. The car runs great and even has a battery shut off switch that allows you to turn the battery off without disconnecting it when you park it for extended periods. This helps keep the battery from draining. Here is a list of some of the upgrades to the car: - Aluminum radiator - Battery shut-off switch so you don't have to disconnect anything. - Power windows (factory) - Deluxe leather interior (factory) - L-82 350 CID 210 HP V-8 engine (factory) - Power Steering (factory) - Security engine alarm w/key (factory) - New alternator in 2013 - New shocks and brake work on front and back brakes in 2014. The A/C works and blows cold. The lights open and close. The paint was done in 2012 before I purchased the carand it is great shape. There is one spot that has a smallbubble on the front fender on the passenger side. There are also some scratches and nicks on the T-Tops, hey were like that when I bought it. The car is great and I have tons of fun getting it out for date night or just to drive on a nice day with the T-Tops off. The car is garage kept and insured by Haggerty, ho did a site inspection on the car when I bought it. Again, his car is numbers matching which makes it extra rare. There are 78k original miles on the car and it has been tagged as original with the "A" on the title. Interior and exterior are both in excellent condition.
There is a $500 non-refundable deposit and again, he car is being sold As-Is. Buyer is responsible for all shipping and any fees associated with shipping the car. I can mail all documents I have once payment has cleared. I am listing this fast as I have also listed it locally and the car won't last very long. Make a reasonable offer and get a classic car!
