This is an old dairy farm truck. Bought from second owner ( My neighbor, that in 2 years used a 1/4 tank of gas only starting it every so often.) It is a 1976 3/4 ton, wheel drive, ull size, 92 inline 6 cylinder, anual 4 speed stick shift, ith 70,000 original miles. I bought it last year for my 15 year old daughter to use in high school. I got it home and started to go through it. This is what I did, ew gas tank with new filler neck hoses, ew front brake pads and rubber hoses to frame, ew upper radiator hose, resh oil change rotella 15/40, rained and filled the granny gear rock crusher trans, pened the 3/4 ton 14 bolt corporate rear end, nspected to see that it was an original 70,000 mile truck, do believe it !! Put oem G5 fluid back in and painted cover to re-install. I washed the engine bay and did plugs, ires, uel filter, ir cleaner, he carb I pulled off and cleaned in solvent tank, The original distributor has the same treatment tanked cleaned and re-installed. there is a new battery and positive cable to starter. Antifreeze was drained and fresh put in. I sanded and painted the front bumper, anded and painted the 4 rims a quality job on painting. I went through all the lights. The exhaust is good and original has one small leak and I put a directional tip on the end. When on the hoist I greased every bolt that I could see, his is for future of doing more work on it. I have done this for years. I have not replaced shocks yet, you can do that. The rims and tires on it came from factory with original miles on them, hey are 16.5. The original AM radio worked for the first few test driving times and then it quit. I put in a 2015 pyle high tech stereo. It has AM/FM with RCA ports, SB, emory card and memory stick. I when driving it and enjoying the truck took it up to 65 mph but did not want to go more because of tires. This truck is a lower gear to work tow pull haul and drive, ot a racer, erfect for 1st time daughter's truck. If you want faster change rear gears to go a steady 70-100 mph. The interior is great very clean and showing only wear on the seat that has lost a seam thread and wear.. The steering wheel has been changed by previous owner and I went back to get it and it's gone, o the only not stock items are that and stereo. Glass is awesome. Windows roll-up great. The cab is tight. There is less than normal rust on it, ot much, he only through rust in on door bottoms and inside on outsides of floor. The 8 foot box is in excellent condition, t would be sought after for a nice replacement on a full resto. There is the one large fuel tank, assenger side. It starts easy and runs great, hifts like new, lutch is probably original. The first gear is granny and then 3 more w/ reverse. The rear bumper has a DMI style spring loaded hitch. I know that for the past 10 years they did not drive in the winter. I have it stored in cold side of shop. Everything works, t is a dependable tough truck and I love it. Here is why I am selling it. Not 3 months ago the other eighty year old farmer, eighbor to this truck's elderly owner sold me his truck also, nd my daughter likes it better, o I did all or more to that one as did to this one. it also had only 78,000 miles on it. Now I am selling a truck I don't want to but have to. Bid with confidence I am a Chevy truck man and have been working on these trucks for 30 years. I have many pictures and will shoot them to anyone that asks. This is a local pick-up no shipping price but will try to help if I can. It will drive anywhere, ust remember the original tires are on it. Also it has zero salt on it. If you are close enough and want to come over, reat, all Bill at 81524582fiftyseven for questions also. I only want responsible bidders no slackers. Well, hat's my part. Thanks for your interest.
