Description of 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 |
Original matching numbers Z/28, olid original California rust free body. Originally Hugger Orange with Black Deluxe interior. Please read the following list of numbers carefully, nd look at the pictures closely, have tried to cover all the major points, nd taken photos of everything I can access. If there is anything in particular you would like to see, mail me a detailed description of what and where, nd I will send it to you. However, would much rather you see the car in person for obvious reasons. The cowl hood is not the original but is a GM hood. Clean Arizona title and current reg in hand. The price for the car is $28,000. If you want the car, lace your bid, ontact me regarding payment, hen I will end the auction on your behalf. Ebay will get their fees. VIN stamp 19Lxx5240 (matches VIN tag and hidden VINs) Crank pulley 3956668 Previous owner let the car sit for many years at a shop where it was "worked on", ut mostly neglected. I removed the heads and checked cylinders, ll looked good, as stock pistons, ods, 176 crank. Carb has no corrosion or crud, ill rebuild nicely. The intake manifold is just ok. Smog pump and smog tubes on both exhaust manifolds (3942527 and 3946826). Power steering pump and lines present. Trans and bell housing came out easily, ll threads good. Have individual pictures of most items. (It's all put back together for transport). Distributor, tarter, hifter linkage rods, old off valve and tachometer are missing. Has console w/gauges (missing lens), riginal round bar Hurst shifter, 68 spoiler (which is correct for early '69 cars), eats are in car, ll glass original, ut windshield cracked. Power steering and disc brakes. Car has been primered to prevent rust. The booster, aster cylinder and radiator appear to be original GM, ut not sure if correct. Currently sits on Monte Carlo 15x7 rally rims. This is a California car with no rust or rot. None. The floorpans are completely solid. Body panels line up nicely, o dents, oors close very solid, umpers are straight, as the long bumper guards, hrome and trim looks good, runk pan was replaced with GM part sometime in the past. Has black deluxe door panels. I now have lots of detail pictures of individual items. Obviously requires a full restoration, nd some expensive parts are missing, ut true matching numbers are getting very scarce. If you restore cars you know there is nothing better than starting with original sheetmetal and drivetrain, he only thing that gives these classics real lasting value. I welcome inspections, uestions and helpful information. Please refer to Camaros.org and Camaros, net for the best info on the web regarding 69 Camaros. The X code is meaningless since the majority of "Z/28s" have had the trim tag replaced with a reproduction tag, o please don't buy a car just based on that. Absolutely no trades. The starting price is 100% firm, will not consider anything less, o don't ask. This car is for sale locally and nationally in other outlets. Auction will run 10 days to provide ample time for questions, nspections, esearch, tc. The deposit is expected immediately upon end of auction, therwise I reserve the right to re-list the car. I will only accept cash, r a major bank wire transfer (eg. Wells Fargo), o Paypal. Sorry, ut too many scams out there |
