Description of 1966 Chevrolet Impala

1966 Chevrolet Impala station wagon 4dr project or restore. nbsp;327-? with 4barl carb. a/t 2-spd trans 12-bolt rearend factory P/s. P/b. A/c. nbsp;Engine runs. new aluminum radiator. hoses. belts etc. 15x7 camaro z-28 wheels or aluminum slots with good tires your choice. nbsp;tires on Z-wheels need to be relaced. Interior is in really good shape to me. not perfect but original stock and looks really good for its age. headliner is hanging down in back and will need to be restitched! Could use some carpet though! Front windshield is cracked all other glass looks good. doors shut good and windows roll up and down. back glass is power and have not tried yet. has new igintion switch and key as somebody lost keys after lady had car taken away due to age and they tried to bust out key switch. no damage done to dash (see pictures) will need to have door keys recut by taking one lock out of door and take it to locksmith and have one made for $15. Car was under barn roof for 11 years. floors look good. motor does run have not driven do to brakes need to be fixed (brake booster and master cylinder for sure and right front brake is tight and does not roll very good. Needs to be totally restored to be driven. would make good restored daily driver or hot rod nostalgia drag or custom pro touring?? Speedometer has 73980 on it not sure if thats original but based on the date of purchase feb 1 1969 and the lady that drove it. nbsp;it might be original milage??? I have a receipt dated 1973 that has engine size 327 written on it and mileage written down as 11514. Please note I can not verify that the engine is a 327 or that it is the original!!!!! Front tab of block has T0129D stamped on it which does not come up under codes. I used a magnifying glass and no thing else there. You are welcome to research it and find out? Car is sold with a "Bill of Sale" only. nbsp;as Alabama did not require titles on vehicles before 1977 or 78 "please check with your state" before bidding for title purposes. If you are from outside the state of alabama and need proof of rsgistration to go with "bill of sale" there will be an extra cost of $125. oo to put tags on a car. (but please note this car cannot be driven). nbsp;your out of state purchase DEPOSIT will be $625. 00 instead of the original $500!!
