Life has once again kicked me in the groin and I must sell this, y last prized possession from a time when I was successful. This is a 1976 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, ully numbers-matching, ith automatic transmission, 48 Engine, -Tops and 77K original miles. It's been garage kept for most of that time. The body has a couple minor dings, ostly just chips in the paint. There is a small crack behind the driver's side rear wheel well from a careless jerk in a parking lot, nd some chips on the T-Tops from a careless idiot friend. See pics. The previous owner rebuilt the engine in 2002 at 70K miles, nd since then it's only added 7K miles. Radio is missing, ecause I removed the ridiculous tape player an owner in the 80s had installed, hich didn't fit and looked awful. Original radio is AWOL. The carpet appears brown in some pics because of my terrible camera which sees things that are not there. It is black, he original carpet from 1976. AC is untested. Headlamps are up because of old vacuum lines, ctuators are fine. There are other ticks typical of a 40 year-old car, ut none that impede function or appearance. This car is nice as is, nd would be very easy to restore to perfect condition. I will also include both the Chilton and Haynes manuals, nd a couple books on restoration. I have the original owner's manual, nd documentation of all work I have had done, nd even older registrations, ales receipts and dealer info going back to 1979. I would like to say that you won't find many like this, ut that's a heap of crap. They're all over the place. Just buy mine and give it a good home. $8K is the firm price. I paid $10K for this car in 2004, o I'm already selling at a loss. Buyer will have to arrange shipping because I don't have time. $500 deposit due 48 hours after end of auction, ull payment within 14 days unless other arrangements can be made. Car is located in Port St Lucie, L. Local pickup encouraged!
