Description of 1952 Chevrolet C-10 |
..........NO RESERVE.......... Original 1952 Chevy 3600 long bed pickup rusty but buildable - I have to many irons in the fire and need to make room for some of my other projects. This truck is rough but I like the patina it has with the rust and blue color - I had planned on cutting 9-1/4" out of the frame and making it into the popular short bed pickups. I wanted to mustang II it and add air ride and wheels but keep the body as you see it in the pictures. These where my plans but I just can't find the time to do it at this time so I am going to sell it at no reserve for someone else to build. This truck has a BILL OF SALE only... Great potential if your ready for a cool rat rod project. I have listed everything I know about this truck please review all the information and pictures before bidding. This truck is available to be viewed and inspected. This truck is being sold as is where is no warranties implied. Please ask any questions before bidding. I can arrange shipping for this truck for $2.00 a mile or you can get quotes from your shipper and I will help load the truck. On Mar-10-16 at 15:55:24 PST, eller added the following information: I was able to clean up the identification tag on the door pillar and have discovered this truck is actually a 1949 - the tag has 9GR-J which I decoded as a 1949 Chevy 3600 built in October at the Norwood Ohio Plant. I also found out that the 49 had the one piece door glass and side cowl vents which this truck has also. I believe the 49 is more desirable because of the one piece side glass. I also added some additional photos of the drivers side of the truck. |
