Description of 1987 Chevrolet Blazer |
I have a super clean 87 K5 blazer for sale. Tons of new parts. Rides, drives, andles, ounds, eels like a BRAND NEW 87 blazer, ecause it is. Drive it anywhere, ets 12-13 MPG. Super smooth, uper quiet, uper comfortable, o rattles Doesn't smoke leak or burn oil. ZERO ISSUES. Previous Owner didnt know if it showed original miles or if it had "rolled over". I honestly would not be surprised if it had only 86,000 original miles, verything was very clean and very original. when i got it. ---------------THE GOODS---------- --Rare factory combo for 87, 05, speed, 1 gallon tank, /c, anual windows. --Mechanically original, verything under the hood is there as it was from the factory, ven a working smog pump and EGR valve, hich is rare on these as they were usually tossed years ago. --5.0 litre TBI, oughly 15,000 miles on crate engine. --SM465 4 speed, ranny 1st transmission, ith hydraulic clutch. --NP208 transfer case. not the full time NP203 --10 bolt differentials 3.08 gears, osi traction rear. --BF Goodrich KM2 Mud terrains. 32x11.50r15 Roughly 2000 miles. --2 tone paint inside and out, ess than a year old, ooks great. --front buckets out of a 2002 tahoe, ith custom made seat covers. --wired under the carpet for an sub and amp --working COLD A/C. --KEYLESS entry --HOT heat. --NO rust --EVERYTHING WORKS AS IT SHOULD. ----------------- THE BADS ------------- The only issues I can think of are: ---Suburban rear seat replaced the factory vinyl bench, swapped the brackets so it works like it should, UT the seat belts on the seat are the male ends and the seat belt on the truck side is also male. So it would need the female end. Hope that makes sense. ---Speedo reads 5 mph slow @ 45mph and about 7mph slow @ 70mph. I replaced original 30" tires with 32" tires almost exactly 1 year ago. ---Theres a couple very minor flaws in the paint, hips from re-assembly. i have to piont them out or people never see them. Very minor. -------NEW PARTS------ -Starter -Clutch -Flywheel -Fuel pump -Water pump -Alternator -Plugs -Wires -Distributor, ap, otor -Brakes all 4 -U joints driveshaft F and B -Speedo cable -blower motor -Shocks all 4 -Both bumpers -Lights, ens -All trim -All chrome -Grill -Complete window, oor, op, eather strips, askets. -windshield -dash -seat belts -stereo -speakers -carpet, ith extra insulation, nd extra sound deadener ----- too much to remember ----- -----------------OVERALL ---------------- Baby on the way, ime for a 4 door, s the only reason I'm selling it. I shoulda built a suburban hahah. The thing I love about this truck is that its stick shift, ith crank windows ( i hate the slow electric windows in these trucks, ven new motors are slow ) its very simple/basic, nd everything works as it should, ven the AC. While cruising its very quite, ou dont really hear the exhaust, ou dont really hear the tire hum, here no air whistling sounds, he doors dont rattle over bumps. Its just a simple, reliable, omfortable truck. Overall it would be hard to find another in this condition, ou wont be disappointed. However all sales are final and no refunds will be given, so i recommend carefully inspect every photo and read description . I'll send additional pics on request, could only upload 24 pics. Feel free to ask me any questions about the truck. The Blazer is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end at anytime. |
